PARENTING WORKSHOP:
How to Foster Your Child’s Imagination and Independence
(While Getting Some Time for Yourself!)
Listen, I enjoy playing with kids as much as the next person. Heck, I built an entire career around teaching children skills through play!
That said, as a parent, my brain has already mastered all the skills that playing trucks, princesses, superheroes, and tea parties imparts. It’s fun for a while, but then it gets boring—fast.
Not to mention, I have a to-do list as long as my arm (and getting longer every moment I sit here building the 4th LEGO set today!)
Over my career as an early interventionist, parenting coach, and Mom, I’ve taught thousands of kids to play by themselves—and now I want to share it with you!
Turn "Mom, Look!" Into "Mom, Relax!"
Independent play is not just a fancy term for leaving your kids alone.
It’s actually a powerful way to help them grow and learn while giving yourself some much-needed time and space.
You’ll also enjoy your kids more when you do play with them because you’re not burned out or bored.
Independent play is a win-win for everyone!
Who is this workshop perfect for?
But most importantly: teaching your child to play independently will strengthen your bond and make the time you do spend together more enjoyable and meaningful.
A pre-recorded workshop (so you can access it at a time that works best for you) covering:
A 30-minute Voxer (think Walkie-Talkie on your phone) appointment to ask your questions and get my feedback!
Independent play isn’t just a free time for you to catch up on work or take a breather – it’s a crucial building block for your child’s growth! From nurturing creativity and problem-solving skills to bolstering self-confidence and resilience, independent play can transform your child into a self-reliant, imaginative, and emotionally intelligent little human.
Absolutely! Every child is unique and, quite like adults, some lean more towards the introverted side. Our workshops are designed to gently ease children into the world of independent play, providing them with the comfort and confidence they need to venture out on their own. You might be surprised to find how your ‘velcro’ kiddo blossoms into an independent explorer!
Our workshops guide you step-by-step in creating a stimulating play space that entices your child to explore, create, and engage on their own. From choosing the right toys and organizing them effectively to structuring the environment to foster self-led play, we’ve got you covered!
Yes, indeed! This golden age of 2-6 years is when your child’s curiosity is blooming, making it the perfect time to introduce them to the concept of independent play. Our workshops are finely tailored to meet the developmental needs and abilities of children within this age bracket.
We believe in empowering, not burdening parents. The strategies we teach are straightforward, practical, and easily woven into your everyday routines. No need for elaborate setups or investing hours each day. Instead, we focus on smart, sustainable changes that can fit seamlessly into your busy life.
Your convenience is paramount to us. Your workshop includes 6 months of access to the workshop- allowing you to work through the materials whenever and wherever you want! Your Voxer Q&A can be booked on your schedule- and since it’s audio-only you can take it from the toilet or the top of a mountain- as long as you have wifi!
